Wilderness Survival Campout - Nov 6-8, 2009
Event description:
This campout was at Widen Ranch in the Texas Hill Country and focused on survival skills in a wilderness area.
After sleeping under tarps on Friday night, the group went through a series of training sessions on Saturday.
The group eventually arrived at the camping site for Saturday night, but they had only their clothes,
water, a knife, a space blanket, and some string.
Some plastic sheets were later provided.
For dinner, they had a chicken breast but no stoves, no pans/pots, and no utinsels.
They mananged to cook the chicken on sticks and an old metal grate that they found.
